Happy Easter 2008!

Presley celebrated her first Easter in Temple. It was actually her first trip there, so that was fun for everyone.

And not only did she get to have three Easter celebrations, she had five Easter "baskets", too. Lucky! She did really well the entire weekend, considering it was a big change from her norm. She was able to meet lots of her relatives that she hadn't seen before. It was a little sad, though, on Monday when she realized that she wasn't going to get to be held constantly (like the 48 hours previously). But she's pretty flexible and adjusts fairly quick. So that's nice for us.

She was barely awake when her first celebration began, but perked up a little bit later as the gifts kept coming!

This is her second celebration. She seems to be getting the hang of it!

She's only 3 months old and already getting spoiled rotten. She would, of course, be spoiled even without her grandparents, but they definitely do their part!

This is Presley in her Easter dress. How adorable is that bonnet? I'm thinking she needs one with every outfit.

It was no surprise to see that my head was cut off from this picture. After 3 months, I am finally getting used to that. Really, I'm just lucky that she can't sit on her own yet or I wouldn't be in any picture! : )

March 20, 2008....Three Months!

Well, it doesn't seem like it's been three months, but she celebrated her birthday on Thursday. And although the calendar says 3 months, the clothes that she is wearing now are more likely to say 6 months.

The smiles are coming more and more often! She is really starting to respond to toys and people and has learned how to get what she wants even quicker now. : )

Smiles!

This is still one of favorite toys. She loves to stare at the "bug" in the bottom left hand corner. She smiles a lot more now and has also started to talk quite a bit, as well.

More Snow Pictures

I wasn't able to add all of the snow pictures from last week so I'm going to try again.
The snow was falling pretty hard from about 2pm until later that night. It was really pretty and covered everything.

The dogs enjoyed running around in the snow, playing with snowballs, and eating the crazy white stuff that was everywhere.
There was enough snow that we were able to make a pretty good sized snowman. He's about 4 feet tall.
We didn't take Presley out in the heavy snowfall, but I had to at least get one picture of her the next morning. Who knows when we'll get this much again!

Did someone say Blizzard?

Well, my last post about a Texas Blizzard was a little premature. We got another snowstorm on Thursday that dropped about 4-5 inches of snow at our house. It was amazing. When it was finished, you couldn't see our driveway and could barely see the street.

Texas Blizzard 2008!

Presley got to see her very first snowstorm! We ventured out into the snow for only a moment.

This is the next morning. You can see the little rabbit tracks in the snow off to the side.

Our neighbors were able to build a pretty good sized snowman! Even though the snow had all but melted by early this morning - the snowman was still surviving!
