Dallas Arboretum

We went and visited the Dallas Arboretum! Presley loved looking at all of the plants and flowers. They had several ponds, so we always had to stop and look at all the fish, too. Here are some of the pictures that we took. Of course we had to elbow a few other photographers out of our way that were taking engagement and bridal portraits, but we still managed to come home with quite a few new pictures of Presley. A lot of these are from the back. It was about 150 degrees that morning so she wasn't in the mood to turn around and pose for pictures and I was too hot to really worry about it. : )

This is one of the houses that they have on exhibit there. You can go inside most of them and look around.

4th of July & Wooden Park

Well, we've got some catching up to do. So we're going to backtrack a tiny bit to the 4th of July to see my little Patriotic Princess. And then we'll get to moving on blogging about everything else that we have done since then.

Waving Old Glory!
We also went the Wooden park that morning. We are lucky enough to live near this amazing park. There can be twenty other kids there and you would never know it since it is so contained and has all these cool little structures to play on. And it is surrounded by a fence with only one way in or out - so that's pretty nice, too.

And in the afternoon we saw Terry and Aunt Kim, and went swimming!
...and even though she was asleep long before the fireworks began, it wasn't a bad way to spend the 4th of July!

19 Months!

Trying for some good 19 month shots! Sometimes she has the patience for these pictures and sometimes not. : )

Baby EINSTEIN!!

I have a TON of pictures to post, but I wanted to start out with this little video to brag a bit and show how smart Presley is. She knows her shapes! She can recognize at least 22 or 23 letters of the alphabet! She is working on her phonics - she can do the sounds for about half of the letters. Her vocabulary is huge and growing like crazy everyday!- I need to post a video of her talking...

The square and the rectangle tripped her up at first when we were initially learning the shapes, but she has gotten better since then.
I swear she learns something new everyday. I'm just trying to keep up. We're practically ready for kindergarten.

That's all I have time to post right now. We have to go put in a call to Mensa and shop for a bumper sticker like the one below...
